We follow the guidelines set by the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) to ensure fairness and clarity in every transaction. Our goal is to resolve issues swiftly and respectfully, while upholding your rights as a consumer.
1. Refunds – Major Issues
You are entitled to a refund, replacement, or similarly valued product if:
The item has a major problem (e.g. it’s unsafe, significantly different from the listing, or fails to work as described).
A major failure that cannot be fixed or would take too long or be too inconvenient to resolve.
2. Returns – Minor Issues
For minor problems (e.g. small defects or faults), Royal Bikes will decide whether to:
Repair the item
Replace it
Offer a store credit
You may be eligible for this if:
The item is faulty or damaged
The wrong product was sent
The item was damaged during delivery
3. Online Orders – Shipping Damage or Errors
If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and your proof of purchase. We'll guide you through the return or replacement process.
We cover return shipping costs for damaged or incorrect items.
4. Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, incorrect sizing, or personal preferences. However, at our discretion, we may allow a return or exchange within 14 days if:
The item is unused, in original packaging, and
You provide proof of purchase
A 15% restocking fee may apply to accepted change-of-mind returns. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and return postage is the customer’s responsibility.
5. Conditions Where Returns/Refunds Are Not Accepted
We are not required to offer a refund or replacement if you:
Simply change your mind
Damage the item through misuse or neglect
Were informed of the fault before purchase (e.g. clearance, demo or seconds stock)
Found the product cheaper elsewhere
Don’t have a valid proof of purchase
6. Lay-by Terms & Conditions
3-month repayment period from the date of deposit
Minimum deposit: 20% of total price
Extensions available in certain cases upon request
If payment is not completed within the period, the deposit is forfeited
Cancelling a lay-by will incur a termination charge equal to your initial 20% deposit
Proof of Purchase
Please retain your receipt or order confirmation as we require proof of purchase for all returns, exchanges, and warranty claims.
