Royal10 Challenge
Updated: 3 days ago
10 DAYS. 10 CHALLENGES. ONE VERY BIG BIRTHDAY.
16 – 25 October 2026
Royal Bikes is turning 10! And really, there was only one appropriate way to celebrate a decade of bikes, rides, coffee stops, and awesome people ... Go riding!
We've put together 10 challenges to complete over 10 days. Some will make you work. Some will make you explore. Some are completely ridiculous. And absolutely none require you to be the fastest cyclist in town. Do one. Do five. Do all ten.

HOW IT WORKS
Every different Royal10 Challenge you complete earns you 1 ENTRY INTO THE ROYAL10 MAJOR PRIZE DRAW. Complete all 10 = 10 ENTRIES. It's completely free to participate, and you don't have to complete all ten.
Along the way, there are also special prizes for individual challenges - creativity, ridiculousness, great photos, great stories and other feats we think deserve celebrating.
We'll be sharing some of our favourites throughout the ten days, so if your challenge asks you to post a photo, make sure you tag @RoyalBikes and use #Royal10Challenge.
THE 10
Click the links below:
01 Celebrate 10 Years of Royal Bikes: Come celebrate with us on Sunday 25th October.
02 Draw Us a Birthday Cake: Draw a birthday cake with your Strava route.
03 The Perfect 10: Can you stop your Strava at exactly 10.00km?
04 Vertical 1000: Clock up 1,000 vertical metres.
05 Bring a Mate: Because riding is better with good people.
06 Visit the Kingdom: Ride into Royal Bikes and wish us a happy birthday.
07 Your Ride, Your Way: Tell us about a ride that means something to you.
08 The Royal10 Tour: Ten Warrnambool landmarks. One challenge.
09 The Other Bike: Wrong bike. Right attitude.
10 Local Legend of Mervue: Ten laps ...or... apparently some of you will refuse to stop at ten.
THE BIG DRAW
Every eligible challenge completion earns one entry into our Royal10 Major Prize Draw. Completed 6 challenges? You get 6 entries. Easy. Keep your Strava activities/photos handy - we may ask for proof of your completed challenges. Maximum 10 entries per person.
We'll draw the winner at the celebration on Sunday 25 October @ Dart & Marlin from 3:00pm.
Major prize: Okay, this is shaping up to be a pretty good one... We've had some awesome support from our suppliers, and the prize stash is growing! Think Wahoo BOLT, fancy new tech, vouchers and a whole bunch of other goodies.
We're still adding to the pile, but let's just say you're going to want your name in that hat.
CAN'T MAKE THE BIRTHDAY RIDE? No worries - you can still be in the Major Prize Draw.
Send Royal Bikes a DM before 1pm Sunday 25 October with your name and how many Royal10 Challenges you completed. We'll pop the corresponding number of entries in the hat for you.
THE BORING (BUT IMPORTANT) BIT
Royal10 Challenge is supposed to be fun. No challenge, prize or Strava segment is worth doing something stupid for. Ride within your ability, obey the road rules, wear the appropriate safety gear, use equipment that's safe and suitable, and make your own call about traffic, weather, road and trail conditions.
Participation is voluntary and you ride at your own risk. Royal Bikes isn't responsible for accidents, injuries, damage, loss or questionable route-planning decisions made while taking part. If a challenge doesn't feel safe for you, don't do it. There are nine others.
Be sensible. Be kind to other road and trail users. Don't trespass. Don't take unnecessary risks for a Strava screenshot.
We want to see you at the birthday party in one piece. ❤️
